People, before you pack your things, activate your home security systems and hop on that plane to Switzerland you are going to need some direction. There is a lot to see and do in Switzerland but unless you’re applying for permanent residency in this incredible country there is absolutely no way you can see it all in one trip. That’s why I made a list of the top things to see and do in this country.

Below are just a few suggestions:

1. GoldenPass Panoramic Train – This ultra-modern train service lets you take in the beautiful sights of the country while you sit back and relax.

2. Chateau de Chillon – Built in the 11th century just off the shore of Lake Geneva, it is one of the most well-kept medieval castles in Europe.

3. Rhine Falls – In Neuhausen just on the German border, you will find these extravagant and gorgeous falls. They are the largest waterfalls in Europe and you can even take a boat ride to the large rock in the center of the stream for some climbing.

And those are just a few suggestions to get you started. See what Switzerland has to offer and leave your cares behind.

If you wish to travel to Switzerland and you also want to save money, you should consider an all inclusive trip. There are tours and package deals available to help you get the most out of your vacation dollars.

There are tours available that are priced for every budget and interest. Costs can range from 50 to 650 depending on the level of lodging and amenities you require. Tours can last for a few days up to two weeks and more and may include a ride on the Glacier Express, trips to St. Moritz or Lucerne, or a cable car ride to the top of the Aiguille du Midi. Tours are worth the price because they include so many things, like a guide, some meals, and lodging. Also, it is convenient to pay for the whole trip at one time. Since most of the itinerary is set, you won-t have to plan your trip.

All inclusive vacation packages will also save you money. Many resorts offer luxurious accommodations, meals, drinks, and some entertainment. If you are interested in skiing, an all inclusive resort may offer a discount on ski rental or lift tickets. Many resorts are also family-friendly and offer activities for children of all ages.

Switzerland needs no introduction as tourism and Switzerland are like two sides of the same picture. Whenever we think of spending holidays abroad, the first destination which appears in mind is of course Switzerland. The arrival of lots of air carriers have provided a luxury of choice to the passengers as now they can negotiate and then select the best deals on travel prices to Switzerland.

It is not difficult at all to find cheap flights to this beautiful country. The cities like Zurich, Geneva and Berne are ideally located in the Western Europe and are a center of business and tourism. Their significance has persuaded many airlines to operate their flights to these cities on regular basis.

It was quite easy for me to find number of airlines offering economical packages through internet. A little bit of web search enables me not only in finding some competitive air fares but also to find additional benefits like bed and breakfast, airport transfers and etc.

Once a traveler entered this heavenly place, there is much to do and a lot to explore. There is nothing better than a place like Interlaken where one can enjoy boating, swimming, biking and skydiving. Many kinds of adventure sports like bungee jumping, rafting, paragliding and many more are available as well for adventure lovers. Winter offers fun filled sport like ice skating, snow boarding and sledging. Not to forget Lugano, Lausanne, Zermatt and Rhine Falls as all of them are equally appealing and deserves a visit.

Switzerland is a beautiful country with majestic mountains, peaceful lakes and stunning views. For the hiker, skier or shopper, Switzerland offers some fabulous opportunities for vacationing. The area around Montreux is one of my favorites. Here are just a few others.

Montreux
No visit to Europe is complete without a trip to a castle, and Montreux offers the Chateau de Chillon, located above Lake Geneva. An 11th Century castle, Chillon contains dungeons, a tower, courtyards, weaponry and antique furniture, as well as frescoes. Switzerland’s most visited historical landmark, it is located on the Swiss Riviera. The full explanation can be found at http://blog.travelpod.com/travel-blog-entries/rob-danielle/1/1313254278/tpod.html

Geneva
French speaking, this city boasts shopping, restaurants, museums and a fountain considered the tallest in the world. Set on the shores of Lake Geneva, it is an enchanting city for culture, as well as watch, chocolate, boutique or perfume shopping.

Lucerne
From Geneva, one can take a relaxing boat to Lucerne, with its stunning veiws, as well as visit Mount Pilatus.

Zermatt
Visit the Matterhorn, ski or enjoy the beautiful views and exciting nightlife here.

St. Moritz
A variety of sports in this winter resort make it a popular choice. Spa and fine restaurants abound.

With many natural hiking areas and adventures, Switzerland is a top destination.
